The Lion Zone | My RØDE Reel 2019

Watch the Behind The Scenes:

For starters, I use Rode VideoMic GO Light Weight On-Camera Microphone for both video shoot and voiceovers. For example, all of my dialogues I had to re-record because the background noises were really loud, so I use on the mic attached to my Canon Rebel T5i and detach the audio and add it to the original footages.

My approach to action scenes drew upon the inspiration for anime, and the film’s use of fight choreographers with boxing and brawling. The only thing I regret is I broke the 180 rule.

We're looking for locations based on a typical anime tropes when being bullied by high school delinquents such as under the bridges and alleyways. The alleyway we shot has a lot of opportunities for camera angles and we take advantage on the environment on the fight choreography.
