With only a handful of flour left, a widow has come to terms that there is only enough for one last meal for herself and her son, when an unexpected stranger comes along and asks for something to eat.
The trailer was filmed in Rural NSW, Australia on location for a week with a team of up to 15 cast and crew members. There was no electricity on set and we had to run off battery power for the whole shoot, strategically using generators so that they wouldn't interfere with audio recording.
Our most interesting challenge was to light our interior night scenes with only candle-light. These had to be specially hand-made in order to produce enough exposure for the scene. A firetruck was also brought on set by the location owner to use as a rain-generator.
We filmed using the Blackmagic URSA mini pro with Rokinon Prime lens with a mixture of Sennheiser and Rode audio equipment for on-set recording and foley effects.
