"Triptych" is a short-film that explores a non-sequential disruption of Aristotle and Plato's concept 'eudaimonia'. In the three-act triptych structure, the strands of happiness that affects eudaimona (as told by Aristotle) is Time, Pleasure and Truth. Ray, in his youth and as an adult, struggles to grasp the meaning behind a fulfilling life - in seeking it, he destroys what was once a time of happiness.
Triptych was filmed through 3-4 shoots, located in Sydney, Australia. We used the videomic pro and NTG2 microphone for the film. The camera's include a Canon EOS 70D and GH5.
It was a great experience, and as a young filmmaker I am keen to grow in the industry. You can check the BTS video to see the process.
Hope you enjoy!
