SMT Team Leader - Night shift

The SMT Team Leader will be responsible for the SMT team members on night shift. Safety of oneself, and others will be at the heart of your actions. You will ensure that our SMT area processes are always achieving maximum productivity and output. Please bring your significant experience in the SMT field to our Company and improve further our processes, products and SMT Operators ability with your knowledge, passion and hard work.

Shift time:

  • 10pm - 6:06am (Sunday night start)

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Job receipting
  • Dealing with kitting issues
  • Operating SMT machines
  • Troubleshoot errors that occur, escalating issues where required to your direct manager
  • Work towards team KPI’s
  • Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times
  • Understand the importance of quality checks and carry these out as required
  • Monitor product standards, identify, and escalate any issues
  • Leading the SMT night shift team members
  • Other duties as required by the business

You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:

  • ​​​​Proven experience following strong process procedures and control
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to production issues
  • An individual who thrives in a fast paced and deadline conscious environment
  • Experience in production line operation is preferred but not essential
  • SMT experience is highly preferred
