As the Resource and Process Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and maximising resource utilisation within the New Product Group (NPG). You will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement across various processes, developing, and maintaining the process to streamline operations, and ensuring optimal planning of resources to achieve business objectives. You will contribute the forecasting resource allocation, coordination of projects to support project delivery and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:
Resource Allocation:
•    Provide options to resolve resource allocation conflicts and prioritise resource requests based on organisational priorities and project requirements.
•    Collaborate with project managers, system architects, and other stakeholders to understand project timelines, resource needs, and strategic objectives.
•    Monitor resource utilisation and adjust allocations as necessary to optimise efficiency and meet changing project demands.
•    Provide timely updates and reports on resource allocation status, capacity utilisation, and upcoming resource needs by collaborating with project managers.
•    Manage resource capacity and workload balancing to prevent resource overallocation or underutilisation by collaborating with project managers and system architects.
•    Assess current resource allocation practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
•    Implement tools and systems to track resource utilisation and performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
•    Analyse data and metrics to identify opportunities for improving resource efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Process Optimisation:
•    Develop and implement Agile Stage Gate Process in NPG with stakeholders.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and workflow ensure alignment with organisational goals.
•    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements, make adjustments as necessary to achieve continuous optimisation.
•    Drive the adoption of new processes and tools by providing training, support, and guidance to teams.
•    Communicate effectively to align stakeholders on process optimisation goals, strategies, best practices, and outcomes.
•    Stay informed about industry trends and developments in new product development process practices to ensure the organisation remains competitive and efficient.
 
You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:
•    Proven experience in process improvement, operations management, or resource planning, capacity management preferably within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
•    Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritise, plan, and execute initiatives effectively.
•    Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, ERP, Atlassian, systems).
