Your responsibilities will include the following;

  • Manage the inventory levels of all additive materials and consumables, ensuring both are replenished to avoid any down time.
  • Responsible for all additive manufacturing processes supporting all manufacturing aspects from build file and consumables to finished printed product through post-processing.
  • Work directly with colleagues to support the processing of print requests, production of printed parts, and assistance with part design.
  • Ensure upkeep of maintenance of all additive equipment.
  • Ensure Additive department’s operations meets WH&S requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship on best additive practices.
  • Manage priorities from different stakeholders across the business.
  • Develop and maintain cross-discipline specialties and significant depth of knowledge in additive.
  • Establish and document a nominal build process that meets quality standards. Engage with key stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed, contained, and resolved.
  • Ensure staffing needs are met as the additive department grows.
  • Inspect 3D printer parts for print quality and print error.
  • Housekeeping of Additive department, ensuring facility is kept to a high standard of cleanliness.

We will provide you with the tools and environment to enable you to be successful, but you will be required to bring with you;

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials or other engineering discipline; industry experience will also be considered.
  • Extensive experience in additive manufacturing, with a focus on multi-jet fusion.
  • Strong skills in CAD programs such as, but not limited to: Onshape and Solidworks.
  • A focus on meeting deadlines and working under pressure, with limited supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in the use of measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of WH&S standards.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations.
