RØDE is looking for passionate, talented and dedicated Material Handler/Storepersons to join our rapidly-growing team. Reporting to the Materials Handling Coordinator, supporting the Production team you will ensure all materials on the production floor are replenished and maintained in a timely manner. You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring packing and production areas tidy, safe, and efficient in line with WHS requirements. 

Role responsibilities

  • The continual removal of rubbish from production lines and packing department
  • Communication with team leaders for the purpose of sourcing production and packing kits, having them brought down and placing them where they are required
  • Removal of and labelling of reject material
  • Organising microphone travel crates and foam, their storage. Organise for their removal when not necessary and retrieval when need by each production line.
  • To make sure all empty pallets are removed from Production and Packing departments
  • To keep broken pallets stacked neatly in a suitable area and have them removed by a contractor when needed, ensuring this does not interfere with WHS standards
  • To track the location and movement of kits for Packing and Production
  • Manage and maintain data within the relevant ERP data systems and establish and maintain the goods traceability
  • Operate forklift and on-site vehicles as required

About you

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Experience working as a Warehouse Storeperson or in a previous Inventory Controller position
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
  • LF/LO forklift license
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience using ERP and RF scanners
  • To be able to drive a manually geared car (preferable)
  • To be able to communicate clearly
