RØDE is looking for a passionate, talented, and dedicated Project Engineering Manager on a 12-month contract to join our rapidly growing team. This position combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee the successful completion of various engineering projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation plans.
- Create project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Proactively address cost overruns and optimize resource utilization.
- Provide technical guidance, assist in problem-solving, and resolve engineering-related issues.
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and effective collaboration.
- Establish, and provide regular feedback and project updates to maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, project documentation, and final project reports.
- Maintain accurate records and project archives.
- Analysis of project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support production.
You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment.
- Strong technical background.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an asset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
