RØDE is looking for a passionate, talented, and dedicated Project Engineering Manager on a 12-month contract to join our rapidly growing team. This position combines technical expertise with project management skills to oversee the successful completion of various engineering projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Create schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies to identify potential roadblocks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Create project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
  • Proactively address cost overruns and optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide technical guidance, assist in problem-solving, and resolve engineering-related issues.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication, task delegation, and effective collaboration.
  • Establish, and provide regular feedback and project updates to maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, project documentation, and final project reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and project archives.
  • Analysis of project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support production.

You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
