We are looking for an experienced and passionate CNC Machinist to join our team for the manufacturing of plastic injection moulds, die-cast moulds, press tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges, special purpose machines and automated production cells. To be eligible for the role, the candidate should preferably have 5+ years post trade precision machining experience.

Working in a world-class facility – your expertise will assist the following

  • Manufacturing of plastic injection moulds as well as die-cast tooling, press tools, jigs and fixtures, special purpose machines and automated production cells
  • Programming and setting of various CNC machines
  • Understanding and knowledge of operating Toolroom manual machines, EDM and Wire EDM
  • Supporting and training of department apprentices
  • Ensure all Toolroom machines and equipment are kept clean, maintained and in good working order
  • Ensure the Toolmaking facility is kept in a safe, clean and tidy manner

The tools you bring will be enhanced by our technology

  • 5-10 years CNC machining experience, preferably in a toolroom environment
  • High level of programming and machining experience with a data driven approach
  • 5 Axis machining an advantage, but not essential
  • Automation and robotics experience beneficial
  • A team player with a positive and can do attitude

Special Skills

  • Ability to meet stringent quality control standards
  • Proven experience in ensuring output targets are met
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques & concepts
  • Ability to work autonomously to plan and organise daily tasks and achieve organizational objectives within set timeframes
  • Good time management and housekeeping skills, along with the ability to multitask
