We are excited to announce a new beta firmware update for the RØDECaster Pro II that unlocks an incredibly powerful new feature: wireless microphone connectivity. That’s right! Inside the RØDECaster Pro II is a dual-channel wireless microphone receiver that is compatible with all RØDE Series IV wireless microphones. This means you can connect up to two Wireless GO II or Wireless ME transmitters to the RØDECaster Pro II’s audio channels, just like you would an XLR microphone (or any other audio input) for completely wireless recording – great for cable-free podcasting, presentations, IRL streaming and more.

You can also add powerful APHEX® effects and granular processing to your wireless microphone channels, allowing you to take your wireless recordings to the next level.

Please note that you need to be running the latest firmware on your Wireless GO II and Wireless ME to ensure it is fully compatible with the RØDECaster Pro II’s wireless receiver. Check out this video for more information on how to update your microphone.
